As Rapid Response representatives for USW Local 1010, we are dedicated to ensuring our members stay informed, engaged, and empowered on issues that affect our jobs, safety, contracts, and communities. Rapid Response serves as a vital link between our membership and the legislative process, providing information and clear communication about policies that impact our livelihoods. Through education, advocacy, and unity, we strengthen our collective voice and protect the rights and benefits our members have worked hard to earn.
Educating Empowering Engaging
Rapid Response is the Steelworkers' nonpartisan grassroots education, communication, and action program that provides the necessary structure to inform every USW member about pending legislation concerning labor and work-related issues.
Rapid Response provides opportunity for all USW members to have a strong voice and an active part in the legislative activities that affect their daily lives and allows USW members to fight back on a daily basis on issues that affect them, their families, and their communities.
