Committee Chair:  Shaniese Edwards
Vice-Chairman:      Vincent Witherspoon

The Committee on Political Education is responsible for engaging in political education, facilitating member-to-member communications about political issues and elections, and endorsing political candidates. C.O.P.E. plays a crucial role in mobilizing members to take action in the political arena and ensuring the interest of working families are addressed. C.O.P.E's efforts are integral to the USW's mission to build power through the ballet box and enact laws that support families, bolster labor rights, and drive retirement security.
